There are some excellent online translations of some of the most wonderful texts in the world.
A book that almost literally saved my life was The Cloud of Unknowing. One that I am presently studying, the Ladder of Perfection. 
I'm looking for The Practise of the Presence by Brother Lawrence.. and another which many years ago I typed by hand, of which the title has gone.
